The Escrow Process Explained
How Escrow.com protects multi-thousand dollar domain transactions.
Zero-Risk Transactions
Premium domains are high-value digital bearer bonds. They should never be transferred based on a promise or a direct wire transfer. We exclusively utilize Escrow.com (the licensed escrow partner of ICANN and major registrars) to facilitate the acquisition.
Escrow Timeline Interactive
Buyer and Seller agree to terms. Escrow transaction is opened.
Buyer submits payment to Escrow.com via wire or credit card. Funds are secured but NOT released to seller.
Seller transfers domain. Buyer confirms receipt. Escrow releases funds to seller.
This process guarantees that the buyer retains their capital if the seller fails to provide the transfer authorization code, and the seller retains their asset until capital is verified. It is the industry gold standard.
